Heading to hang the show tomorrow...
Hello again,
From Feb. 27th til March 27th, selections from the Ruralitry series will be exhibited alongside the work of Jake Wells at The Yeiser Art Center in Paducah, KY.

There will be an opening reception on the 27th of February and I encourage anyone who is able to attend.

Hope to see you there.
Studio 709
Hello all.
I am trying to get as many photos up as I can to show some more of Studio 709 (aka, the Shop). I am planning to have another open studio sooner, rather than later. If you are interested in stopping by, keep checking the News posts for more information.
I finally posted some news.
Look here. I've got some news.
This month, I'll be having a solo exhibit in Harrisburg, IL at the George T. Dennis Visual and Performing Arts Center. The show opens September 14th, closing reception is scheduled to be on Thursday, October 15th. I don't know the time yet, but I'll let you know.

In February, Jake Wells and I will be having a dual show at the Yeiser Art Center in Paducah, KY. It will open on the 27th of February and close on the 27th of March. No report on the reception this time.

Sullivan Arts Council
I thought I would help promote the newly arranged Sullivan Arts Council in Sullivan IL. We have some people in the city who are invested in the spread of visual and performing arts, and I, for one, am happy to hear it. If you are in the neighborhood, Sullivan has two new galleries on the square; New Prairie Gallery and The Second Act Art Gallery.

As always, Sullivan's Little Theater on the Square is still a great place to catch live theater at an affordable price AND in a nice environment.

*Shameless plug: there is also a new studio that will be periodically open to the public called Studio 709. Photos can be seen here. Newer photos will be posted once they are taken. They will show how the space has been turned from an emptied wood-working shop, into a studio space. Check back to see the change. Thanks for stopping by the news section and be sure to check out the food and art options on the square in Sullivan next time you're nearby.

As usual,
Ben
