I, II, III
This installation drawing was the result of seeing an image of Lincoln's assassins being executed. The power of the image (originally an Alexander Gardner photo) was reiterated as a group of larger-than-life drawings directly on the gallery walls. This piece dealt with space, scale, morbidity, anonymity, American history and a colleague's suggestion of the idea of "image power."

All drawings are charcoal and conte crayon applied directly to the gallery walls.
